Windows XP Auto logged in as system. You can set host drive folders as shares to be browed over the network from another machine. Open MS explorer for a more Windows look. This is a good OS, loaded with tools, for someone that’s not comfortable with Linux.
PcJinuxOS Log in as root, password root. You can browse the network for shares and offload the host drive data.
BackTrack 4 Log in as root, password toor. After you login, at the prompt enter “/etc/init.d/networking start” to start up networking. Then enter “startx” to start the GUI. This is the best OS to load if you know Linux. It’s just jam-packed with tools.
Free-Pass When the App. boots hit enter, it will do its magic then reboot automatically. That’s when you can login to the host machine with a username and no password. This is a great tool for working on some one elses machine but they can't remember the administrator password.
GParted This is a really good partitioning tool.
NT Password You might have to use this if Free-Pass doesn’t work. Although both Windows XP and BackTrack 4 have NT password hacking tools.
DBAN This is a Dept. of Defense quality tool for overwriting the HDD. The data that was on it becomes unreadable to forensic tools.
Memtest86 Just a memory testing tool.
